I enjoyed this read very much. I lived in Spain from 2002-2004 and then again in 2007-2008. I went back in late 2009 and remained until mid 2010. The back and forth is a long story. I lived in Madrid.
I have a love-hate relationship with the country.
I never understood the comma where there should be a decimal. I always thought it was a continental Europe thing. I lived in Rome for a year and they did it, too. But Spain is (most certainly) different.
Don’t get me started on Spanish funcionarios and its bureaucracy.

Very interesting. (Just shared it with my son, who emigrated to Italy.)
Thanks Fred

Very interesting! Muchas gracias! Pero porque tu columna no se llama guerra y paz?
