We have the same currency problem in Australia. The monarch is supposed to be on the $5 note, but when QE2 passed, the decision was made to refuse King Charles' picture. Lefties infest every part of government.
Interesting that Canada did precisely the same thing with our new passport designs — a bunch of wildlife scenes and indigenous themed art replacing WW1 memorials, founding politicians, etc. I was outraged when I renewed my passport. All symptoms of the same cultural rot.
👏👏👏 A tremendous article by Tyrell Bowman! Look, I love wildlife as much as the next guy but this is ridiculous! Winston Churchill and the other great British historical figures mentioned in this piece helped build the modern world! They deserve to be commentate on the bank notes! H***, without Churchill and Alan Turing in particular, there may not even be a Britain today as the Nazis would’ve won the Battle of Britain, successfully taken over Britain in Operation Sea Lion, conquered the world, and we’d all be speaking German right now! The Bank of England are total fools who need to reconsider this decision immediately!
